Presented by the  James Sprunt Community College Small Business Center

Social media and the conversation about your company and yourself are where future customer trust will be built or lost. The question is, are you part of the conversation? The worldwide presence of you and your business is becoming of greater importance. This series will show you how to use social media to help your business truly compete by staying closer to customers and responding to their needs.

Our guest speaker for this series is Martin Brossman from Raleigh who has written a book on this subject titled Brossman’s Social Media and Online Resource Directory for Business. He is a business success coach, and co-founder of the Professional Networking on the Web Club at the Cardinal Club in Raleigh. He is widely known as an expert in this subject, and draws standing room only crowds for his sessions.

The James Sprunt Community College Small Business Center in conjunction with area Chamber of Commerce organizations and Duplin 1st Council will sponsor a series for business owners to learn how to use “social media” to reach more customers and communicate with existing customers. These sessions will each begin at 12:00 with a “Lunch and Learn” session. The attendee will be responsible for bringing or purchasing his/her lunch, but the sessions are free. At the “Lunch and Learn” sessions, there will be a 45 minute overview of the topic as outlined below and time for Q&A. For those who want to learn more, this “Lunch and Learn” short session will be followed by a more in-depth two hour session on the topic. You may elect to attend both the “Lunch and Learn” sessions and in-depth sessions, or just one of these sessions as your time permits.
